Miss Edna Benser, the adopted daughter of Charles A. Benser, formerly of Rock Island, is the heir of the latter. She was adopted into the family as an infant and only 2 years before Mr. Benser died. The latter left no will, so the wife, Mrs. Henrietta M. Benser received 1/3 of the estate and Miss Benser will receive the remainder. After the death of Mr. Benser, his widow and adopted daughter moved to Pittsburg, Pennsylvania where they have since resided.
