From Port Byron Globe, June 6, 1884
Princeton, Iowa: The family of Wm Dubois had a family reunion last week. He is past 67 years and was born in New Jersey, coming to Pleasant Valley in 1838 where he first settled. He married Catherine Hicks in 1844 and moved to Princeton Twp in 1850 where he has since lived. They had 14 children, 10 of whom survive.
