A letter from I.H. Wasson is published from western Nebraska in which he mentions seeing his sons Charles and Monroe in Red Willow County, Nebraska; also Capt. John McKinzie living in Perkins County who formerly built river steamers; also Thos. Blackburn now living in Ogalalla, Keith County, formerly a blacksmith in LeClaire; Mr. and Mrs. Rector, also natives of Iowa; and Mr. Hoxie formerly of Port Byron.
