The Rock Island Daily Argus October 10, 1877

Two sons and a daughter of W.F. Winship living on John Deere’s farm, were involved in a wagon accident today near the residence of Peter Reed.

Henry Siemon’s butcher shop on 6th Avenue was robbed today.

Archibald Morton who was formerly in the coal business in Hampton but who now lives in Andalusia has opened a coal vein 2 miles south of Andalusia. His farm is next to that of Samuel Goode.
