The Moline Daily Journal, April 6, 1902

In August 1898, Mr. and Mrs. Stromberg (now involved in an adultery case) adopted a child whose name was Edna Cecil Mildred Bjorklund, and changed its name to Marie Stromberg. Now the authorities want to send the child to the Union Mission in Rock Island. The real mother of the child has now appeared and is trying to re-adopt what is her own child. The mother was formerly Mrs. Ida Bjorklund but is now Mrs. Charles J. Johnson. The child has now resumed her previous name, Edna Bjorklund.
