Rock Island County Illinois Genealogical Society is a non-profit organization founded in 1972 by 110 Charter Members. The original name was Blackhawk Genealogical Society. The name was changed to Rock Island County Illinois Genealogical Society on October 26, 2004. Below are the names of the original charter members.
